Simple Halloween rhyming books are another great option:
Lastly these are some of our favorite Halloween board books for babies:
What are the best Halloween rhyming books?
Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson is probably one of the best Halloween rhyming books. It comes in board book, hard cover, and paperback variations for all ages. We even did this fun Halloween activity for our toddler based off it!
The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey (author of Captain Underpants) is another fan favorite. It's fun for parents to read and kids will love it too.

What are the best Halloween flap books?
Little Blue Truck's Halloween by Alice Schertle is probably the most popular Halloween flap book.
We also love Where Is Baby's Pumpkin? by Karen Katz her lift-the-flap books are great for yolder babies and young toddlers because the entire page lifts up.

What are the best Halloween books for Pre-K children and classrooms?
The Little Kitten by Nicola Killen is probably one of our favorites. While it's not an over the top Halloween story (it does have a picture of a witch on one page, but no mention) it has all the fall and Halloween vibes while teaching an incredibly sweet story about always being supported and finding your way back home. There's also a great discussion to be had amongt older Pre K kids about not leaving behind old friends or family for new friends.
The Shy Little Ghost by Jesse Seifert is a great board book for pre-k classrooms teaching kids about making new friends and including others. It's a great as kids are still early in the back to school time and it makes for a great bedtime book as well!
Mr. Pumpkin's Tea Party by Erin Barker is also a great Halloween book for Pre K classrooms that teaches counting, with all the spooky vibes!
Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell is another fantastic Pre K book that focuses on letting go, transitioning, and the cycle of life.

In general, any of the Halloween books on this list make great bedtime books!
Final thoughts on Halloween books for Pre-K to babies
This is such a fun time of year! Halloween books for babies ideally familiarize them with the images they may start seeing around town, and books for toddlers should build on that with fun rhymes and silly stories. Halloween books for preschool children ideally teach some sort of moral or value in a loving way!
