Step 1: Spray paint your figurines
Take all the tags off your Christmas village figurines, then take them outside and give them a few coats of the white spray paint. I used a semi-glossy but it came out fairly matte (which is what I wanted).
You could stop there and display your white Christmas village all on it's own! Or you could…
Step 2: Dust them in snow (Optional)
Dip your paintbrush in a little modge podge and coat the areas you want snow. The figurines from the Dollar Tree already have the marks for snow in a few places, so you can follow those. I also did snow on the base of the figurines. Then just pour the snow over the figurine. I suggest doing this over a paper plate, so you can pour whatever doesn't stick to the figurine back into the bag of snow and reuse.
