For our 2020 Holiday decor I opted for a Christmas Tree Farm theme for all my Dollar Tree Christmas crafts! This cute little DIY Christmas Tree Farm Terrarium is totally customizable and perfect for a vertical display to lift the eyes up. Even better? It's SO easy to make! Supplies:
- Glass bowls (at least 2, but you can go as high as you'd like!)
- White sand
- White snow
- Sisal Trees (I used a hybrid of the ones from the Dollar Tree and this pack from Amazon but I think this pack matches the Dollar Tree Sisal trees color better (and it's cheaper!)
Step 1: Remove any labels/packaging
Since you'll stack the bowls, make sure to remove any sticks from the bottom. The terrarium is glass and you may be able to see them if you don't.
Step 2: Add your “snow”
Start by pouring white sand in the bottom of your bowls, then top with some of the snow from the Dollar Tree. I used the more glittery one but you can go with any of the Dollar Tree options.
Step 3: Add your trees
Gently press the trees into the snow until the wooden base of the sisal tree is fully covered.
Step 4: Stack
You can leave each terrarium exactly as it is, or you can stack them. Personally, I chose to stack two on my open shelving.
