DIY Woodland Dollar Tree Christmas Wreath: Only $6!!!

After making my Dollar Tree Ornament Wreath for Halloween I knew I wanted to do another Dollar Tree wreath for Christmas – but I wanted to to look classy and chic – not cheap. Queue this gorgeous Woodland Owl Christmas Wreath you can make for only $6 using supplies just from the dollar store! Supplies:

Wreath wire frame
2 Packs of garland
2 Holiday florals
1 Woodland critter ornament
Hot Glue

Step 1: Wrap your wreath

Wrap the wire wreath frame in the garland. You'll need about 1.5 garlands. Just cut the excess garland off the second one and set aside for another DIY.

Step 2: Lay it out

I personally like to hang my wreath up when I start decorating so I can see how it will look at eye level. I simply added my florals just off center on the lower portion of my wreath by sticking the stems into the garland/wire frame. No gluing necessary. Then I laid out where I wanted the woodland critter ornament (Owl in my case) to go and readjusted the florals as needed to get everything sitting nice and close together.

Step 3: Affix your woodland creature

So I wanted to be able to take my Owl ornament off in case I messed it up or wanted to reuse it in future years for other projects. So I took a little bit of the leftover garland, folded it in half, then hot glued one side of it onto the owl ornament. This create an upside down V with the garland, which acted like a wire that I simply twisted onto the wreath form and adjusted the positioning as needed.
