DIY November Infant Photos:

The simplest DIY photoshoot for November is going to be collecting some fall leaves, pinecones, and acorns and just laying them grouped around your baby with their letterboard or milestone cards:

If you want to kick it up a notch, you can theme it for Thanksgiving using the above and a cornucopia, some gourds, and corn. Or you can go a step further with a full on baby turkey theme!

DIY Turkey Themed Baby Pictures

Start by cutting out your turkey feathers. I just eye balled this. I started by cutting one, then laying it under baby to make sure it was a size I liked, then moved on to cutting the rest.

From there, you’ll just splay out the feathers, dress your baby in a brown onesie and plop in the center. If you want to take it up a notch, you can by a crochet turkey hat too, but I prefer a simple look.

If you just do the turkey baby and a letter board, I’d suggest shooting baby off center using the rule of thirds. So if you have gridlines turned on, it’d be either that bottom left or right intersection and then the letter board would be in the opposite upper corner for a balanced photo.

If you want to shoot baby in the center, I’d suggest using some fall leave and pinecones to fill in the background.
