One of our favorites books from this list is Laura Numeroff's “Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse!” which is a sweet and silly tale following Mouse and his friends. It teaches all about friendship, cause and effect, and thinking about the next step in things.

For Babies I love “ABC I Love You” Board Book by Candace Warren which is a simple affirmation book focusing on love.

“Guess How Much I Love You” by Sam McBratney is another one of our favorites. Its such a sweet story, with beautiful muted imagery, that's perfect for montessori or waldorf families!

Lastly for preschoolers, Little Blue Truck's Valentine by Alice Schertle is a fan favorite. “Plant a Kiss” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal is perfect for teaching about spreading kindness. “Harvey The Heart Had Too Many Farts” by Jane Bexley is a funny Valentine's book for boys and girls who love a good fart joke, while also teaching about acceptance and unconditional love.

Lastly, The Invisible String by Patrice Karst is an incredibly deep and meaningful book about love knowing no bounds. It's a best seller in grief and brievement kids books, but has a sweet Valentine's message too for everyone.
