Veronica Chung loves creating new adventures, meeting new people, breathing inspiration into others, and sharing her transformational journey. She’s always hunting for beauty around the world and using various mediums to share it. In 2015, she won awards from the Soul-Making Keats Literary Contest in both memoir vignette and humor. She’s living in the Bay Area in California while in the process of publishing her first book.
Veronica and I had the chance to do this vlog a little differently than usual since I was in the Bay Area! Since it's the first interview like this we were a little unsure of where to look and when (haha) so excuse any awkwardness as I tried to figure that out!
Some things we touch on in the interview:
- How to survive the quarter life crisis
- Recognizing and working through fears
- Using self awareness to change the “victim” mentality
- How to utilize self care and self expression to live a full, present, and meaningful life
I think one of my favorite quotes from Veronica was:
“Become friends with your struggles”
Because it is the best way to worth through it and grow from it. Another favorite quote was”
“I may fall a few times but that's the fun of it”
I love how she really lives her life and teaches us to live our life by embracing fear and failure to be our best selves.
